Meet in a public place and take a friend. Preferably, the biggest friend you have. I would say to take two big friends, but then the seller might think he's gonna get shanked and take off.

You also might want to contact your local police and apprise them of the situation. If the seller honestly didn't know it was stolen, he shouldn't have anything to worry about if the police get involved.
