I got this off of another thread here (thanks boswd). This article based the battery life on page turns.
Also, I read some of the replies made on the forum there. Even during our worse discussions here on MR, we never got as low as some of the people did on that forum. It's crazy what people will say when hidden by the anonymity of the internet.
