It seems funny to me how they like to boast how many books you can store on their ereaders and then don't give you the proper tools to be able to organize them! I don't want to manually shelve hundreds of books, especially if a reset may lose the work. It would be nice if whatever "MyNook" turns out to be allows for syncing of shelves for B&N content across multiple devices (like on your Nook e-ink and NOOKcolor) like Amazon does for Kindles. That would be a step in the right direction.

This. This a million times over. This -- tattooed on my forehead.
I have a PocketBook360 and IT RECOGNIZES MY FOLDER SYSTEM. Hallelujah. But I'd really like to read on a B&N touch screen N2. But if there's no folder support, I don't think I can.
I have 700 books in my library. I do NOT want to restock my reader once a week. I DO want to have my entire library at my fingertips at any moment. (I do this on my cellphone with a Dropbox catalog, but I doubt N2 will allow that if there's no browser. *sigh*)
I would be willing to organize my books on their social system if it flowed down to the device, but having the shelves be device-specific at the moment is ridiculous. Any damage to the device and all that effort is gone.
But even then - 300 of my 700 books are from B&N. The folder support for the SD card is, in my mind, mandatory. Otherwise, I can't use it. (And, really, folder support should not be HARD to program.)
