Steve, as I already wrote I have the 10-pack in mobi format. I used them as testcase for tompe's mobi2html program. The result was garbage. One problem was in the mobi2html program, it was corrected. But there are also a few 'nul' characters in the files, they shouldn't be there according to Tompe. He suspected file corruption of some kind. But I wonder if that is correct, it was in all the books. And never in a place that was a problem for reading it on my Cybook. I have the feeling that there is a slight problem somewere in the creation process.
It only shows up when you try to 'explode' them. Of course that is not a problem for normal customers. But it can be the sign of something deeper tha can give problems later.
