I'll also add that there's no breach for the Reader Store yet. Or that Sony has released info about. From the start of the breaches they haven't exactly been forthcoming with all information. Security is still being breached to the point that I doubt I'll renew my EQ subscription when it's up later this year (I'm on a yearly plan).

While I was on the fence about whether or not I should call my bank and cancel my debit card they had on file, my bank made the decision for me and all other customers who ever made a payment to SOE or PSN networks and issued new cards to those people, even though Sony claimed that no banking info for the US was stolen. My bank decided not to trust that info exactly as I was worried about. Luckily I was only at a self-service small post office station when I found out my card was denied for a $5.90 charge... that would have been embarrassing to have happen in a line at a store.

So it gets down to how safe you think any of their databases are at this point, including their Reader Store.
