I'm afraid they're not willing to go to that much trouble. They've checked BestBuy stock in our local area and it's not in stock so there isn't a box to be found. They won't look further afield. Even our local SonyStyle store haven't got one.

As for going by the Sony website - they are - and that is the root of the problem. The Sony website doesn't mention the ac adapter - only the actual box does - which is why I need an actual box.

I think part of the problem is that now they've looked at the Sony website they think it doesn't come with an adapter and that I'm somehow trying to con them out of one. As almost every spec on the net for this product copies the Sony site they're nearly all wrong.

Thanks for the kind assistance though. Much appreciated. Thanks for the pic. I might try that if all else fails but it's from an external seller and they also unhelpfully provide a pic of a booklight.
