The two fellows who live there are just great, but can't afford it any more. So it is a bank "short sale" at a fraction of the amount they bought it for before the economy crashed. It is on the same street, except 6 blocks farther, from some friends of ours. We are excited about that!
It will be a few days until we learn if the bank accepts our offer.
