I have to agree with the chubby/big bezel comments. Aesthetically, I much prefer the new Kobo. But maybe that's because the form factor of the new Kobo is nearly the same as my beloved Sony 650!

And yes, the Sonys are definitely way overpriced and way out of date now, no reason to get one. But let's remember that they were the first to market this IR touchscreen that Kobo and Nook are now using. Sony usually comes out with new models in the fall, we'll see if this fall brings some new innovation (for a high price).
