Frankly, that's all I care about. As long as they don't move/remove those physical page turn buttons... I'm good. I read one-handed, and turn pages with just the slightest twitch of my thumb. Would I still be able to do that with a touch screen? That's a serious question for those of you with touch screens already. I'm sincerely curious

Dictionary lookups and navigation aren't a factor for me. An infinitesimal fraction of my time is spent doing any of those things. I open a book, and read one twitch at time until the book's done... then I open another one and repeat. I never have more than a handful of books at any one time on my reader. So, the advantages of a touch screen would be wasted on me. So go for it Amazon... just don't deprive me of my buttons.
