Eh, dtb? *googles* Dead tree books? Yes, that's right. *looks at the shelves* 32 hardcovers, about 65 paperbacks, 20-ish young adult novels and dozens really bad kiddie books. Plus everything that's not on the shelves, like a couple of dozen Dutch (and German, French, Spanish, Italian, even Japanese) translations of Expanded Universe novels... and countless non-fiction books, but I'm mostly into the novels.

And speaking of SW e-books... can anyone explain this to me? Back in January, I pre-ordered SW: Conviction, the new FotJ novel out today (!). This morning at work, I received an e-mail from amazon saying the book had been delivered to my Kindle, and sure enough, there it was. But when I go to the book page on amazon.com, it says the book is not available to customers in Europe. I checked last week, and it said so back then already, too. I can NOT buy this book, even though clearly I did this morning (paid for it, too, ha). There is no Buy button on the page for me, no pricing info etc.

Is this normal amazon behavior? Suddenly realizing that a book shouldn't be available to Europe, but not changing the existing pre-orders? Seems rather... odd (never mind the fact I think it's stupid that I wouldn't be allowed to buy a SW book!). And... it's just asking for piracy, isn't it? If they hadn't sold me that book this morning, guess what I could be doing right now?
