Was that a reader's description, or the author's? Awfully wordy.....still going to try the book, though. :-) Sounds like a cool premise. Hope it's not as wordy. (I know, I sound like those courtiers from 'Amadeus': "Too many notes! Too many notes!")

P.S. Is this a kids/YA book?
