Well, I just replaced my phone after abour 2 years. The old iPhone 3G is locked, and not really re-sellable without major hassle by me. But Amazon makes it trivial to get some useful $$ out of it. Looks like a winner to me. Primarily because the cost to me in time/energy/hassle is nil. I'd already written off the phone, so this is pure gravy. And even if I were buying Agency books (I'm NOT), it would be 10 free books for my Kindle.
