It runs in full-screen, so makes the best possible use of the available screen real estate, but that is still a pretty small window.
A bit less display options than with other Kindle apps, basically you just have a choice of 6 text sizes, no colour scheme options.
Buying, synchronizing and keeping current position updated work as they do with any other Kindle app.
I'd say useful in a pinch if you are stuck in a line for a bit with nothing else to read on, and as a companion to another Kindle device/app, but most people probably wouldn't be comfortable reading for extended periods on it. Especially as there is little control over brightness, so it is likely to cause more eyestrain than other LCD devices.
