Seeing out my last week at where I currently work.
I don't know if anybody remembers a while ago when I posted about issues with my current job. Anyway, things came to a head and the team I was working on was disbanded. I was therefore offered redundancy terms (a sizeable pay-off. largely tax-free) which I accepted.
In the meantime, I had been looking for a new job anyway because of the uncertain situation. I have now been offered two jobs, both paying 20-30% more than my current job. Not sure which one to take yet (they're fairly similar roles) but I plan to take a few weeks off and start one of them towards the end of June.
Don't you just love it when a plan comes together
