Just tested and my Kindle can be charged with my PowerMonkey (handy when I'm house-sitting). I just love it, the screen is so much better than my old Sony and I'm not missing the touch screen at all. I do need to get used to the different lay-out of the keys, even if the forward/backward buttons are placed more convenient.
My sister is happy because I told her she is getting my Sony. I first need to deregister it with Adobe and Sony. She also liked the Kindle, asking if they sell it in stores in Spain (she's going on a holiday there next month). She was even happier when I told her that many classics can be downloaded (legally) for free.
