Yeah, that was one of the real reasons I decided to just bite-the-bullet and go all-in on router, battery pack and an iGo Stowaway BT Keyboard. When I got to thinking about hanging the EVDO modem off the side of the tablet, suddenly the it loses it's "pocketibility" as I don't want to break the modem. And if I need to attach the thing every time I want to take it out and get online...ummm, no...hehehehe...

I did think seriously about the Cradlepoint PHS300, I really did because it's an even more compact solution. But when I read people are not getting more then a few hours use from a single charge I decided that the ability to use the CTR350 as a backup router for my home network in the case we lose power (btw, we work from home and all both on laptops for exactly that reason so why shouldn't the router be in the mix.) Sure the CTR350 means an external power source but oh, well, it's tiny and still very portable.
