People have been "worrying about this" since the iPad was announced. People on this very forum swore up and down that Apple would not allow any book apps/stores except their own. Even though there were already plenty of book apps and stores already accepted by Apple on the iPhone/iPod Touch.

You can go on being worried, and go buy a different type of tablet. But for all the worrying, for all the naysayers -- Apple has BY FAR the most content available for their customers, and in the best and easiest to use format.
