i have had my nook wifi for about 2 weeks now. there are 3 things i would change so far:
1. move the battery lower. it feels top-heavy reading one handed.
2. make shelves visible to calibre. that would totally rock.
3. a matte grey or black finish on the front. the shiny beige is distracting when reading in bright light.
as far as the touchscreen - i had a touchscreen reader. i didnt care for it. granted, it was a PDNp with the Sipex screen, and slow as dirt. once the novelty of touch wore off, i found myself using the buttons to advance anyway. reading through fingerprints is less than optimal. i dont do web on my reader ... i have 3 desktops, 3 laptops, and a tablet at my disposal between work and home. not everything needs to be web-enabled.
i think the overall form factor of the nook is perfect - size is good ( i have HUGE hands), weight is tolerable - it feels substantial, but is not a burden.
