I know what you mean about a touchscreen not being all that useful for reading, and I also like the LCD OK (for swipe page-turns). However, for things like picking an entry from a table of contents, or even picking a book to read from the list in My Documents, it would be much easier with a touchscreen. I find it very difficult to navigate a long TOC with that small bottom panel - I either swipe too fast and go beyond the entry I want, or swipe too hard and pick an entry and then have to wait for it to open it just so I can close it. Grrrrr! Using a Color Nook in the same fashion is easy because of the larger touchscreen.

Also, it would make the browser MUCH more useful. Even though it is primarily intended as a reader, it would be nice to occasionally get some use out of the browser, and the thing holding that back is the non touchscreen.
