The largest anaconda (a member of the boa family) on record was 28 feet long and weighed over 500 pounds. Pythons, specifically reticulated pythons such as Baby, can get up to at least 32 feet in length, although their weight is no match for that of an anaconda of equal length. There have been reports of pythons 40 feet long. Baby was 17' 3" when she died.

Here's my late great Baby, picture taken in my backyard sometime in the 80s. The two guys in the picture were workmates of mine at the time.
