When MS Reader is installed and associated with .lit files the files should download to the My Library folder inside the My Documents folder.

When you download does the book automatically open up the reader software & display the book (after acknowledging that text to speech has been disabled)?

If you open MS Reader software do the books you've downloaded show up in the library listing? If not I'm sure they've actually downloaded.

I do remember having an issue with IE7's "security" settings when I first started downloading books. It would pop up a message at the top of the browser and you'd have to click on that & allow the download, which would reload the page & then download the file.

Firefox shouldn't have anything to do with it. I've used three XP computers & two Vista computers to download .lit files from Fictionwise (note which store your downloading from should make no difference) and all have Firefox as the default browser.

Also in the My Library folder should be a file called "LitPath.lpt" if you open that file & wade through the giberish you'll find titles of books and paths to where they are.
