I just ordered my Kindle!

I found that Visa has a kind of pre-paid virtual credit card available called 3V. You can buy a card for a certain amount, maximum €150, either online or in store. However, you can't top it up although you can merge two cards (for €2,50) if you have left overs.

I emailed Amazon first if they accept this kind of Visa card and they do. Because of the €150 maximum I couldn't buy the Kindle plus accessories in one go so I bought two credit cards with which I bought two Amazon gift cards for myself. After ordering my Kindle I still have nearly $50 left to spend on ebooks.

You can't use it to purchase things over €150 unless you can buy gift cards for yourself. But for me it's a good solution and relatively save.

Estimated time of delivery for my Kindle: 25-27 May. Until it arrives I'll probably be glued to my computer tracking it
