The first time with a big school was the hardest. The most I had ever been around before diving there was one or two at a time, and they were usually leaving as we were arriving. In the Carolines, they don't leave... and there are dozens at every reef drop-off or corner where the currents converge.
Have you seen the huge schools of hammerheads in the Galapagos? Hundreds and hundreds of them at a time. Luckily peeing was ALL I did!
