A clue to the clueless - to superimpose the image of one country on the image of another country in correct scale simply measure the number of pixels (using an image editing program) between two points on each image the distance of which is already known to you, then divide the number of km with the number of pixels (or vice versa) and you've got the scale for each image, then simply resize one image to fit the other in scale and voila.

A clue to those who, like me, haven't a clue as to what he said...
just estimate.
Look in Wiki to see the size of your country. It will often say "it's roughly the size of "XYZ" state, put your country on top of the US map, over XYZ state and scale down (or up) your country to match. If you're off by a couple of hundred miles, no one will ever know.
