As much as I possibly can. Which is probably at least an hour a day in spring/fall and more in summer.
Unfortunately, while it's touted as being useful outdoors, the K3 (or at least mine) suffers when it's too hot (above 80) or cold (below 65 or so).
While it doesn't slow down anymore (like in previous firmware versions) it does get kind of grainy when it's hot. And when it's cold, it's so slow to change pages.
