I discovered today that if I go into my computer, right click on the Kobo and choose 'eject'... it does NOTHING. (win xp). I ejected both drives (kobo and SD card) and when I went back in, both drives were still showing up. Attempted to eject again... still no luck. So I did the disconnect from the system tray, followed by the usual reboot and lock up.

It IS possible that somewhere on the 800 ebooks that I have loaded onto the SD card, there may be a corrupt file. Does anyone have any idea how to track down one potentially corrupt file from hundreds?
it's in the naming scheme most likely, with an odd character or something.
not entirely sure.

that's a lot of books to keep track of, my kobo has 55 and i only put new ones onto it if i intend to read them, i have a bunch of purchased ones that i have on my hd still that i haven't loaded but i keep them stored away until i want to get to them. no need to clutter the device with that many books if i'll never get to them.
