I was thinking of the Parnell Hall series -- Murder, Favor, Strangler, Client -- but they are $10 (less 60% is $4) ... but these are also the only titles not (yet) transferred to Amazon Kindle ... and there they are $3 (Detective, Scam, etc). Sorry, but no sale.

You might try the Noir Masters series -- 24 titles, some collections, some novels, some short stories -- which can be found typing that into "key words". At 60% off, these are cheaper than elsewhere.

Aaron Elkins' Gideon Oliver series? They are $10 at Fictionwise, $4 at Amazon ... so, another no sale.

If you are so inclined, it IS a great time to stock up on back issues of Alfred Hitchcock or Ellery Queen magazines.

Richard Stevenson's gay PI, Donald Stratchey, now in 11 novels, is a bargain -- the Fictionwise and Amazon prices are similarly priced but FW is now 60% off.

And all four of Denver lawyer Kenneth Levinson's tales of Denver lawyer Adam Larsen can be had for 60% off ... which is far below Amazon's price.

For all that, fairly slim pickings ...
