Its not true, mostly due to most people are affected by different factors, such as metabolism rate, stress, daily schedule, meals rations, snack rations, region, exercise, diet (as food variety), and a long, loooooooong etc.

As you made a statement, according to logic, showing a contradictory case would be proof enough to tell, that said statement is false.

Particularly, I, tend to eat a lot in small portions through out the day.

Most of my days would be something like:
8~10 am:
get up > shower > breakfast: milk+cocao+something sweet to fill my tummy (toasts, or some granola cookies).
11am~13 pm: i drink mate, and maybe some 5 cookies or something to ea
13~15 pm: have lunch, usually some red meat or rice or pasta, and most of the times, small portions around the size of a fist. Any fruit as dessert (banana, apple) ( an adult's fist obviously; wonder why english ppl bothered to measure everything realated to the body!)
15~19 pm: drink mate and have a mid afternoon snack.
20~22pm: have dinner: mid size portion, trying to eat 1 salad every one day (tomatoe + lettuce usually) (the size of an open hand). eat a green apple, or some other fruit available.
23~1am: drink mate, or some tea, and a piece of chocolate.

I m 23 years old, 1,87 mts, weight 70~75 Kg. (don't trust the body fat factor... it usually tend to measure skinny people as skinnier and fat ppl as obese, its distorterd)
