Is the plugin definitely installed?
go to Preferences->Plugins
then expand User Interface Action plugins
is Kindle Collections in the list - what version?
If it is in the list, then
go to Preferences->Toolbar
change the drop down box that says 'The main toolbar' to 'The main toolbar when a device is connected'
look in the icon list on the left or the right (you might have to scroll each list)
do you see Kindle Collections?
