I haven't even got a touch-screen phone. I am happy with my Blackberry curve, and in fact just upgraded to a newer model. When I was first thinking of getting an ereader I looked at Sonys and Kindles and touch screens were a turn-off for me. I hope very much that Amazon doesn't eventually go to touch-screen or nothing for Kindles. I like to have distinct keys rather than virtual keys on a screen. I like real buttons that you can press.
Having said that, I think that the forward button for page turns on the Kindle is too big and that both forward and back buttons are slightly wrongly located. I also find it fiddly that they have these buttons on both sides. But once one gets used to the K3, it's not that difficult to avoid hitting the forward button by mistake. When I first got it, as it was my first ereader, I tended to hold it the same way as I hold paperback books. Now I have developed a special Kindle grip and it comes naturally.
