Ho ho.

I agree that reading a book via the kindle is more comfortable than a physical book, but I also think that the experience could be so much better than it is. I have a cell phone, the surface of which is rubberised, and its thick with gently rounded corners. Its a delight to hold. The naked kindle could be equally delightful, with very little extra cost.

I'd also like more free space for my fingers and thumbs between the left and right of the screen and the edge of the case, and between the bottom of the screen and the keyboard. Also, bring back the number keys and move the page turn buttons a few millimetres back from the edge so I don't activate them when picking it up.

All of this will make the device larger for the same screen size, so perhaps Amazon should offer an extra version of the kindle for those of us who don't mind a little more bulk if it allows more comfort and convenience.
