Movies were made long before there was copyright. Oh well, not movies...but symphonies surely were. Is there any reason to think that movies are any different than symphonies?

Did books get invented AFTER copyright? If books could and did exist for a couple hundred years before copyright -- what gives us any indication they wouldn't exist afterward?

What you won't have are big Hollywood studios gouging the public with movie tickets priced out of our reach. You won't have those bastard music executives and publishers making big big bucks off of musicians and authors.
