Not by Apple. It's still just speculation at this point. If you had in app purchasing -- that's definitely going to incur the 30% spiff to Apple.

There has yet to be any announcement from Apple that a link to one's web store will also need to incur a payment to Apple. We're all waiting to see on that.

The worst that will come of this for Amazon is that they'll remove the link from their app. Their users will simply have to know to go buy the book from the web.

Like others have pointed out -- the Agency model actually ensures that small stores can compete with Amazon. Amazon was selling ebooks BELOW what the publishers were charging.
