I bought it on a whim, as I knew that I could return it within two weeks if I didn't like it. I ended up really enjoying it. I really like the "speed" of the iPad when reading PDFs, and now I'm glad that I opted for a device with an LCD screen. Also, I do like having colour. I do use the camera's for Skype quite frequently, so I'm glad that I bought the iPad II rather than the iPad I. Other than that, I don't think that I really do anything on it that would warrant an upgrade if I had already owned the iPad I. I do like the thinner form factor of the iPad II better, though, and the white bezel.
Interesting. For some reason, I thought you had the original flavor before you bought the extra crispy. I don't Skype, so I can do without the cameras, but I do like the thinner, lighter aspect of the new one.
