I have a kindle3 & a sony350. While I love my Sony & the touch screen, my hunch tells me you just might be happier with a Kindle. Let's face it, there is no perfect reader out there & the Kindle is a nice reader. I just find my Sony easier to use since I'm not keen on the keypad of the Kindle. Give the Kindle a try. You can always return it if you don't like it.
