They don't know their tech. though. They refer to the Kindle as a tablet. There is a bit of difference between a Kindle and a Tablet computer. I'm sure you would stand out with a gold Kindle, but I have to wonder if that would be a good thing. Any mugger worth his work would be flocking to you on the street to relieve you of both the Kindle (assuming a pickpocket didn't beat him to it) and any other valuables you happen to have with you.
