Nice to be here - I just got a Kobo wireless last week and am pretty happy with it so far, now that I'm figuring out how it works. I have been borrowing my friend's older Kindle for the last few months and knew I wanted to get my own e-reader. I had the hardest time deciding on which one to get - if only Kindle would read epubs and library books too!

But just the thought of being able to carry around hundreds of books in one 8 ounce package is sure wonderful. I have a LOT of books and the boxes seem to get heavier every time I lift them! I just wish all my old favourites will someday come in ebook form.

I look forward to being a member of this community - I've already looked at some threads and there seems to be a wealth of knowledge here.
