I finally decided to take the jump and root the 2.1 with the Manual Nooter and see how that went. I've had problems in the past, but keep on trying.

Today I actually had it right I guess. I was able to install the market apps I wanted with no problem, still not sure how to side load apps, but I don't really need to do that right now.

So I'm using the B&N OS, but Aldiko as the reader as I can just download them from my cloud without connecting to a computer that way.

Using the OC Kernel and am getting decent battery life

Can access the B&N Store etc.

Best of both worlds!!

My Quadrant score is about 1721, which I hear is great, now have my Nook the way I want!
