What does the term serialized mean as shown in the FAQ for websubscriptions? To repeat what the FAQ states to ensure that I understand correctly, for a fee I get upto four soon to be published novels, one quater of each novel at a time such that upto four novels are delivered each month. Why then are there prices for each individual novel? Sounds interetsting.

Wikipedia says that serialized is a format of books that tell installments of a overall story in multiple installments. Robert Jordans' Wheel of Time appears to be an example of what a serialized novel is.
