Instead, I bought the lighted Kindle cover and have found that less (as in attachment point) is more.
I fold the top cover over and hold the Kindle that way. My left thumb seems to naturally rest near the back button and my right thumb rests naturally near the forward button. I find this case very functional.
If I leave the case open like that and then pick up the K3, I do turn a page or two accidentally sometimes, but it's no big deal to hit the back button and return to where I was reading.

I found that part of the 4-way controller was covered too. It really bothered me at first, but was willing to overlook it because I really liked the strap at the back, I got used to it after a while, I thought that I might work up the courage to trim the case a bit around the controller. Also the on-switched is covered a little (but I found that it still worked ok)
