I like the hand-strap on the case so much, that any ereader I own will NEED a cover with a similar strap (or I will add one). I can't imagine reading nearly as comfortably without one.

Yes, it makes sense, and I feel the same way!

My favorite cases don't have a
band, but are just
this ordinary portfolio type. Here's a pic:
The clasp is magnetic and sturdy, so I can fold the front cover to the back and snap it into that position, providing a nice, soft space between for my right-hand fingers to rest in, or I just hook my index finger over the clasp.
When holding it with my left, I slide my fingers into the built-in pocket.
Like you, this is a must-have for any case I buy.
(I've been looking for one for my sony, but
this one is the closest i can find, and the pocket wouldn't work.)

Same here, WT.

I do it on both the Kindle and the Sony, but I still consider the occasional "oops" to be well worth the ease of it when I'm reading.
