Hammer for nails.
Linux for real work.
FreeBSD for security.
Windows for games.
Mac for media.
That being said, I use all of the above, and Solaris as well, for my weekly work here in the cybercave. Each has its purpose, and though the others might be able to overlap, they all have their niche.
