I have only just learned about it and now the option is closed according to the IRex Web Site.
I pointed this out to IREX back in October of last year. They made NOtrue announcement of the offer and advertised it only via their forum and lately by their blog.

Unless you were reading them (or here) at the time there is little hope you would have known about the replacement offer. It is one of the many reasons I stopped using my iLiad and brought a PRS505.
