Image Kindle

I want to take an image of the Kindle over telnet or ssh. I have successfully jailbroken the Kindle, and can get into the root command line via both telnet and ssh. Now I want to take a FULL image of the device, including the file system, and have it on my local system.

Catch - my local system is running Windows 7, so piping dd, gzip, or tar through ssh hasn't worked. If necessary, I have Ubuntu in a VM, but I have not been able to connect the VM to the Kindle via telnet or ssh yet. I would much prefer to use Windows, as I need to then analyze the image using Windows software.

Thoughts?
