That all makes sense too, thanks for both your input. I like the idea of having a margin on ADE or Epubreader but not on the iPad or iPhone, so maybe it's best to keep it to a minimum.
I've managed to clean the CSS up a bit more, as my ultimate goal is to have good epub that will convert well to a .mobi file. But that's another forum...
