I'd like to add my thanks to you for providing this information. I do appreciate your taking the time to post it.
Without trying to start a "debate", I would like to mention that I am on Facebook and have been for some time. I find it to be a wonderful way to reconnect with old freinds and family -- both near and distant. I've been able to reconnect with a number of people that I would otherwise not be able to.
I will say that I don't play Facebook games as they are a very big time sink. I do share my information (such as it is) but only with my friends -- people I would share it with anyway.
I guess I just enjoy the opportunity to use the application and really don't want or bother to get involved in the "politics" of it...
