I got the Nook because I already had purchased about 30 books in the E-Reader format and have an E-Reader publisher program I use to save collections of poems and old hymns. I wanted to be able to put them on my reader, and I also liked the idea of the replaceable battery. Kindle couldn't deal with either of those, so I got the Nook E-Ink a year ago when it was $250. I also liked the way the nook worked hand-in-hand with the brick-n-mortar stores with the Read In Store benefit and occasional free smoothies.
Calibre appears an excellent program for managing books, and I am looking forward to becoming an expert in using it.
I am trying to figure out how to write recipes to get rss feeds, and am having a miserable time
I tried all afternoon to write one to get the Gutenberg feed, and all I can get is the HTML code, The instructions are not very helpful (and since I don't know python I am starting in the hole.) I see that there is a Gutenberg Plugin, but no information on exactly what that is and how to use it. So I am a newcomer, and eager to learn.
I'll be a regular for a while until I get me sea legs.
Van!!
