Hi to Poppaea/Chatterbox,
I am actually in Senegal right now! Mali gets terribly hot in the month of May (it actually hit 50 in mid-April already) so we take all our vacation time at once on the cool coast, in Dakar. It helps that we have children living in Dakar, so we get to see them as well.
I've had my Nook since August 2010 and I am actually on my second one, since it developed a glitch in February. I'm happy to say that B&N customer service was excellent and they replaced it very quickly.
