Desertblues' travel journal makes me long for the road! What wonderful adventure! I have this mental image of a tribal leader, turban, scimitar, and desert boots, riding a prancing white Arabian stallion (and perhaps looking a bit like Sean Connery) kidnapping her (but only to share a dinner in his tent in the oasis) then returning her to the hotel by dawn... Was it a dream?
Good morning, everyone! Having my first mug of Fortnum and Mason's Royal Blend tea with my breakfast. Boy, I wish I always had access to this tea. It really is wonderful!
A bit of sun and clouds today, 20°c (about 70°F) so a good day to wash and wax the bike. A few other chores to do, but mostly, a nice day to read a book under a tree in the park!

Stichawl: Of course that isn't a dream. You are dashing in your posts and that
counts as being a real Omar Sharif.
Kk: I admire you always for being so fierce and feisty. I feel I coulnd't do all you have been doing. But when I travel, I feel like a discoverer and open my mind wide for all new things.
I feel a bit fierce and feisty then.
Betty, my dear, i just love seeing your avatar from this far away country and listen to your kind words.
And I feel a tear in my eye sometimes, for the fate of Bambi and Tim. I enjoy my life and travel and they are going through rough times... You are very real people to me.
In my cup: Ahmad tea. Breakfast is flat bread, egg and soft feta-cheese.

you, my Dear, have put me, and all of my silly adventures to shame! I feel like a mere neophyte worshiping the Master!
