When my son was a pupil at an international school, an American fellow pupil asked him a question. The dialogue went something like this:
American kid: You talk funny. Where are you from?
Son: England.
American kid: (Thinks a bit and then triumphantly gives vent.) The New England Patriots suck!
Son: England and New England aren't the same place...
